Szyb Gigant

A mine shaft in Poland. I visited it during our trip in 2012.
The origins of the “Gigant” shaft of the “Rokitnica” mine date back to 1942. This mine shaft in Zabrze was to reach a depth of 875 meters. The first symbolic coal cart left in a shaft in 1953.
