An abandoned prison in Estonia. I visited it during our trip in October 2015. Nowadays, it is adapted as the Culture Park. The area of the complex is about 4 ha.
The complex was built from 1828–1840. The order for the building was given by emperor Nicholas I.
After World War I, in 1920 the complex’s main function became a prison, lasting until 2002. Since 2007, this abandoned prison is adapted as the Culture Park.
