Huta im. M. Buczka

An abandoned steel plant in Poland. We visited it during our trip in January 2019.
The plant was established in 1881 as “Walcownia Żelaza i Rurkownia” belonging to the Huldczyński automotive industry in Gliwice and as a steelworks Katarzyna belonging to the Upper Silesian concern United Royal Steelworks and Laura. Katarzyna’s steelworks plant consists of an iron foundry, puddling plant and steel mill.
