Tkvarcheli Power Plant

An abandoned power plant in Abkhazia. We visited it during our trip in May 2019.

This power plant was located in the mining city Tkvarcheli. Now is demolished.
Abkhazia has hydroelectric power plants, which makes it energy independent and able to export surplus energy.
